'Industrial Strength'
I made the mistake of
calling HSC a
manufacturer...
As it turns out, HSC is a
well-diversified company.
I thought these guys just
made dirty equipment.
That's what it used to be.
But it turns out that now
they're the new America...
HSC is like a
mini-conglomerate of
industrial services and
products...
They're taking the lead in
industrial outsourcing,
and selling to 'ROW' - my
special acronym for 'rest
of world...'
While other companies sat
back and said let the
Chinese communists beat
the heck out of us,
because we can't figure
out what to do in this new
Chicom competitive
environment, HSC took a
different tactic...
They said let's find a way
to beat, not only the
reds, but all comers, and
they have.
They went into services.
Mill services and access
services. 40% and
32% of their sales,
respectively.
Services!
You've never heard of this
stuff because, a decade
ago, these businesses
didn't really exist.
HSC provides outsourced
services to the booming,
red-hot metals industry!
As the steel sector
consolidates - just like
any other industry -
they're going to want to
outsource more and more to
save more money.
Enter HSC, brilliantly
creating a niche for
itself...
. . . .
.
The bottom line!:
HSC plays into the outsourcing
trend and the need to diversify
away from America! And the
best part of the story is...
They got it all through
reinvention. It saves its
own skin. HSC - put me up
HSC. I'm a buyer!

CEO Interview
Mike Farrell, Annaly Capital Management
Inc.
Jim's comments before the interview:
You hear about all these guys who got
burned by all this sub-prime stuff,
right? You think no one got it
right... Well, you'd be wrong. A
guy whom I was actually critical of,
because the stock cratered... But
there's one guy who saw it coming -
every bit of it coming, every bit of
it... We're here to praise this man who
got it right, and who can tell us what's
going to happen next... This is a
company - NLY - that keeps going up,
even as the other guys get down...
Jim's comments after interview:
That I ever doubted him just proves that
I don't know what I'm doing. NLY.
That's the stock that's the winner, and
that's because Mike's a winner!

'MON-BACK - This is Jim Cramer's term
to indicate that he would back up a
figurative truck, saying "Come on back" or do
a 'mon-back' and load up on the stock being
mentioned.
