JJC: Two and a
half weeks ago, as part of
Ladies' Night on Mad
Money, I let the members
of
Smart Women Securities (SWS),
an all-female investment
club at Harvard, pitch me
their stocks...
. . . .
.
I'm now going to tell you
what I think of all four
stocks that they pitched
and declare a winner...
Flowers Foods Inc.
(FLO)...
JJC: FLO's
input costs look high, and
I'd be a seller of it.
PharMerica Corporation
(PMC)...
JJC: PMC is a
new kid on the block, and
might be a risky move.
Clorox Co. (CLX)...
JJC: CLX could
be a nice, defensive play,
but the Fed has cut, and
the market's changed.
And then there's
EnerNOC, Inc. (ENOC)...
. . . .
.
JJC: Yes, the
company is
EnerNOC, Inc. (ENOC)...
Though it is speculative,
I agree with Tracy... buy,
buy, buy!...
ENOC is an energy controls
play that improves the
reliability of the
electric grid, by reducing
consumption at commercial,
industrial and
institutional end-user
sites, during times of
peak energy demand...
Clever, right?..
. . . .
.
Hey, there's also an
environmental angle, as
ENOC helps reduce the
consumption of energy...
so I definitely see it as
benefiting from the
inevitable political
rhetoric of greening...
environmentalism,
conservationism...
That's what I hear...
In an election year, ENOC
is the thing you want to
hear in response...
Plus, yesterday, we learn
that a really well-known
venture capital firm...
one that I have total
respect for... owns 10.2%
of this company.
They've got credibility
and now, by extension, so
does ENOC...
. . . .
.
The Bottom Line!:
You pitch, Cramer
decides... Of the
four stocks that
Smart Women Securities
(SWS) gave us two and
a half weeks ago,
EnerNOC, Inc. (ENOC)
is the one I call a buy!
. . . .
.

Jim's comments BEFORE
the interview:
If you
crack open a cellphone,
what do you get?...
Well, you get different
semiconductors... little
pieces.. and what
you really get is a
healthy dose of chips made
by
Skyworks Solutions Inc. (SWKS)...
This is a stock that we
have been behind, since we
started Mad Money...
Now, unfortunately, it
hasn't gone up that much
but, on a percentage
basis, you've made some
money...
And one of the things
that's so exciting for me
is that this company
reported - other than
Nokia Corp. (NOK)
- really the only good
number that's even
remotely associated with
cell phones.
Let's find out how it
happened. On the
line now is an old friend
of Mad Money, David
Aldrich, President
and CEO of SWKS...
. . . .
.
Jim's comments AFTER
the interview:
This is
the CEO of
Skyworks Solutions Inc. (SWKS),
whom we've been banking
with, since the
beginning...
You need a cellphone
component play?...
You don't want to have
just
Nokia Corp. (NOK)?...
A little $8 stock, SWKS...
It could work for you.

Back up the truck -
indicated by Jim, when he
says the stock is so good,
that he would do a
'mon-back' on the stock...
In other words, this is the
sound someone would say to a
truck driver, "Come on
back... " as he is "backing
up the truck" to load up on
his cargo. Translation
for buying stocks:
This recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point. |
|
 |
Stumped. - Of the
2,000+ stocks that Jim
Cramer has in his head, for
which he has an informed
opinion, he sometimes comes
across a caller with a stock
he does not know well enough
to opine on... He then
indicates he is stumped and
will have to come back to
it, after he does some
homework of his own on
the stock. This
usually occurs during the
Lightning Round, when Jim
does not know in advance who
is calling, or what their
stock question is about. |

Definition: 'Pull the

either to 'buy' or
to 'sell' (although he
usually uses the phrase for
buying), as if to say you
