JJC:
Will in Hawaii
earlier asked
about GTXI.
It stumped...
Cramer.
Okay, that one
is a small
biotech company.
It's making
drugs for
urology and
oncology.
It's got a drug,
Acapodene, which
is in Phase III
for preventing
prostate cancer
in men, and is
currently
marketing a drug
called Fareston,
which is for
metastatic
breast cancer.
This is a huge
specualtive
play. It's
like a lottery
ticket... I
don't mind this.
I don't mind
speculating with
GTXI. It's
got some irons
in the fire, but
be prepared...
If it misses,
it's going to go
down very big...
JJC:
Chris in
California asked
about CPTS...
CPTS missed the
quarter, both on
the top and
bottom line.
It's a medical
device play that
manufactures
Essure... a
minimally-invasive,
but permanent
birth control
option.
No. We're
not touching
this one.
Sell, sell,
sell.
Q:
With the
projection of
20% of our
energy being
provided by
wind, have you
changed your
opinion on AMSC?
Looks like they
are the ones to
hook up the wind
farms to the
utility grid.
JJC:
I'm going to be
very adamant
about this.
I looked into it
and looked into
it... I did like
this at one
time. I
don't think AMSC
is nearly as
strong a company
as I once
thought, in
terms of wind.
No. I'll
do
Tetra Tech Inc. (TTEK)
as my
speculative
wind... TRN for
turbines...
Owens Corning (OC)
for the composte
minerals that go
into the big...
remember, those
Boeing 747
wings... and
I'll do
Woodward Governor Co. (WGOV)...
but please, do
not ask me to go
to AMSC.
Ix-nay... I'd
rather do
Otter Tail Corp. (OTTR),
which also
works...
Q:
That UBS
news Tuesday
A.M. regarding
terrorist
funding
accusations is
the final straw
for them, don't
you think?
JJC:
I think UBS has
a great asset
management
business, being
obscured by
investment
banking. I
do not want you
to sell that
one.
Q:
I was in
my favorite
running store
last week and
there was a
frenzy for this
just-released
GPS running
watch called the
Forerunner 405
by GRMN.
Thi sthing is
slick and I
wathced the
store's entire
allocation get
snapped up
instantly (for
$350 each).
For runners,
this release was
bigger than
"Iron Man."
I know you were
previously
bearish on GRMN,
but could this
be a reason to
buy?
JJC:
Listen to me,
okay...
What happens is,
we will go
re-look at GRMN,
because of this
product, but
GRMN is a very
big company, and
the rest of its
business is not
doing that well.
You know I got
negative with
GRMN at
Christmastime
last year.
I am not ready
to go positive
on it yet.

Back up the truck -
indicated by Jim, when he
says the stock is so good,
that he would do a
'mon-back' on the stock...
In other words, this is the
sound someone would say to a
truck driver, "Come on
back... " as he is "backing
up the truck" to load up on
his cargo. Translation
for buying stocks:
This recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point.
Stumped. - Of the
2,000+ stocks that Jim
Cramer has in his head, for
which he has an informed
opinion, he sometimes comes
across a caller with a stock
he does not know well enough
to opine on... He then
indicates he is stumped and
will have to come back to
it, after he does some
homework of his own on
the stock. This
usually occurs during the
Lightning Round, when Jim
does not know in advance who
is calling, or what their
stock question is about.
Definitions of key phrases
used by Jim, known as
"Cramerisms":
Definition: 'Pull the
trigger' is Jim's phrase for making
the decision at that point to trade -
either to 'buy' or
to 'sell' (although he
usually uses the phrase for
buying), as if to say you
should feel comfortable
enough to make the final
decision without looking
back...
Definition: 'Ring
the Register' is Jim's phrase for
selling a stock, and making
it a final sale, that you
should not look back on.
Put it behind you.
Definition:'Let It Come In' indicates how you
may wait for it to pull back, or have the
stock price come down briefly, as your
chance (after letting it come in) to buy
the rest of your position (i.e., total
number of shares you own in that stock).
Definition:'backing it up'
or 'doing a 'mon-back' is Jim's
phrase for the metaphor of backing up a
truck to load up on a stock by buying
it. 'Mon-back is short for the
imaginary worker saying, 'Come on
back...' as the truck is backing up to
receive its load... Notice that we use
the little truck icon to indicate where
Jim has mentioned this.
Translation for buying
stocks: This
recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own

you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
