PKD

7.48

Parker Drilling Co. (PKD)

PKD -  No, no, no, no.  PKD is one of the worst.  It's just one of the worst out there.  Look, I'm offering Halliburton (HAL)... I'm offering Transocean (RIG*)... I'm offering Schlumberger (SLB)... I'm offering Core Labs (CLB)...  I'm offering FMC Technologies (FTI) and I'm offering Oceaneering (OII), but not PKD.  PKD is not a good play, as is Superior (SPN).  Look, you've got to understand... You need international, and you can't have very much domestic. Of that I'll take HAL, because it's moving more international than domestic.

MCD*

57.05

57.36

McDonald's Corp. (MCD*)

MCD* -  Okay, I think that's right.  Now you probably wait.  When you say 'scaling in' you buy some at $58.  Now let's wait until it gets to $55.  If it does that, this is really an international play.  Domestic's pretty good.  International's great... reacting negatively at one point today.  Wendy's (WEN) saying that things aren't so good.  Obviously, Darden (DRI) says things aren't so good.  I think MCD* is insulated from that though.  So the minute the tape comes down, I remain bullish.  I own it for my charitable trust, and I think it's a great stock for kids to buy.  As I say (holding up
his book)... one share of MCD might be the way to start a kid's... When you have a child, I think MCD* is still the one.

AUY

14.80

14.66

Yamana Gold Inc. (AUY)

AUY -  I think AUY is the great stock.  I went behind it.... people lost faith...because it went from $14, and then it went down to $12... because Peter Marrone was buying... was paying up to buy a company... and I will say this, I will say this... Barrick (ABX) and AUY remain core holdings for anybody who wants to own a gold stock.

WNR

21.18

21.18

Western Refining Inc. (WNR)

WNR -  It does exploration, but it does refining, and we know from Conoco (COP*)'s conference call last week the other day which was good - they're pre-announcement... and I own it for my charitable trust...  They said that refining margins are going to be terrible this quarter.  Well, as soon as they said that, I said we ought to sell the refiners.  Now I know they've all come down... Valero (VLO) has come down.  WNR's come down.  But I don't want to touch them.  I don't want to touch them until I see their numbers.  Once their numbers print, then I am interested.  Not until then.

N

31.69

30.76

NetSuite, Inc. (N)

N -  I cannot get behind N.  Technology is so bad.  Even Oracle (ORCL) came down.  I want to be careful with N, even though it's at a 52-week low, but I do very much want to continue to buy VF Corp. (VFC)... I want to scale down, as that dividend starts getting bigger and bigger.  Of course, that's the yield that's getting bigger, not the dividend.

VFC

63.79

64.05

VF Corp. (VFC)

VFC -  Look, VFC you want to hold.  It's got a 3.5% yield.  I think they've already told you that the quarter's very good... (buzzer sounds)... I do very much want to continue to buy VF Corp. (VFC)... I want to scale down, as that dividend starts getting bigger and bigger.  Of course, that's the yield that's getting bigger, not the dividend.

DNDN

5.82

5.85

Dendreon Corp. (DNDN)

DNDN -  No.  I think DNDN is still no value at $5.  I do not like it.

MON

119.63

121.99

Monsanto Co. (MON)

MON -  MON's definitely in the agriculture sector... That's the biotech stock.  It's also, don't forget... it's oil-related and it's food-related, but we are still preaching diversification, and I don't want any one sector to be more than 20% of a person's portfolio.  Even my favorite sector, which is agriculture!

Back up the truck - indicated by Jim, when he says the stock is so good, that he would do a 'mon-back' on the stock...
