SDA |
18.75 |
19.27 |
Sadia S.A. (SDA)
SDA - Hey! A
food company that I can get
into... it's a Latin America
food company. That is
a great company...
That is absolutely a great
company... it processes
food... I like that
almost as much as I like
Hormel Foods Corp. (HRL)...

UA |

35.77 |
Under Armour, Inc. (UA)
UA - I know a lot of
guys are getting into it,
because they say it's come
down, and all the bad news
is in... No. I
don't care... Sell, sell,
sell... When they did that
thing with the inventory, I
lost all interest...
When they said it was good
to have a huge gain in
inventory, I realized that
they thought that I went to
college to get stupid, and
that is not the case... So,
no to UA... I don't
want you in it.
|
|
 |
GILD |
48.49 |
48.26 |
Gilead Sciences Inc.
(GILD)
GILD - Oh man, GILD is
so good... it's a 52-week
high (stock)... I don't know
if I can do that for you.
GILD's too high. Wait
for a 10% pullback...
Price target to buy:
$43.64 (a 10% pullback)
|
|
 |
SYX |
11.51 |
11.59 |
Systemax Inc. (SYX)
SYX - No, no...
Yours will not get respect.
There's nothing here.
It's like a bad software...
I mean, no. We've got
enough problems in tech.
We don't need to be in
software like that.
I'd rather see you,
honestly, I'd rather see you
in
Salesforce.com (CRM)
and that's saying something.

RIMM |
105.65 |
106.42 |
Research
In Motion (RIMM)
RIMM - RIMM is still a
bull-market play. I
like it a little less,
because it's got some
consumer tinge...
|
|
 |
AAPL |
127.94 |
129.99 |
Apple Inc. (AAPL)
AAPL - Let me tell you
about AAPL for a second,
because AAPL is one that I
have wavered on every night,
to recommend this week...
every night... I went
to my unbelievably-good
Apple Store in the Short
Hills Mall in Millburn,
NJ... There's a fella,
Rafe... he is just
amazing. He works
there on Saturday... This
guy has opened my eyes to
the wonders... I always
liked Apple... but the new
product, including the
iPhone,
where they put in the tie-in
with
Microsoft (MSFT)...
When they put up the
iteration... All I can tell
you is that I think AAPL...
Here's what I want you to
do... If you want to buy 100
shares, I want you to buy 25
to 50 right now... It's up
on a spike from $122... but
I was going to recommend
AAPL every day this week,
and every day it's been up.
Why? Because I think that
AAPL... you've got to maybe
take 10 points of pain, and
get 70 points of gain.
I think AAPL is going to
break out by the end of the
year. I know the
consumer is slow... I know
iPod sales aren't that
great... but they are going
to do to cellphones, if they
lower the price, what they
did to every other
entertainment company...
May I suggest that, after
you buy half of it (your
position), go to your
Apple Store, and just sit
there at the Genius Bar...
Listen to them... Go
talk to your salespeople...
this place is amazing.
These stores are amazing...
|
|
 |
UTX |
68.51 |
69.15 |
United Technologies Corp.
(UTX)
UTX - How about the
fact that they snuck in, and
tried to get Diebold on the
absolute sly... how about
the fact that they've
delivered year after year of
earnings... how about the
fact that that stock is so
far down that I just want to
buy, buy, buy! UTX is
a solid, screaming buy here!
|
|
 |
CME |
506.85 |
510.41 |
CME Group, Inc. (CME)
CME - I want to see
CME conclude this deal with
the
NYMEX (NMX)...
Maybe they have to pay up...
maybe that's what's keeping
it down... they have to pay
up... because this is
a really fabulous company,
and I am absolutely not
backing off from this
company. I liked it at
$600, and I still like it at
$500. I have been
behind the stock for 100%
gain, and I'm not backing
away from it.
|
|
 |
ETP |
44.03 |
44.79 |
Energy Transfer Partners
L.P. (ETP)
ETP - I recommended
this stock when it was a 6%
(dividend) yield. It's
now at 7%. I have
researched this thing
nine ways to Sunday...
I was going to re-recommend
the stock next week, because
it's just too cheap, and I
am sticking by it...
Anybody who bought this on
my recommendation, I want
you to go in tomorrow and
buy more. I'm not
crying. I think it's
absolutely right...
(buzzer sounds)...
|
|
 |
WNR |
15.33 |
15.23 |
Western Refining Inc.
(WNR)
WNR - That has got to
be the worst-acting stock I
have seen in ages... May I
suggest that you buy either
Sunoco (SUN),
or I like
Marathon (MRO),
which has a combination of
refining and oil. Risk
takers can go with
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO)...
I've had enough of it!...

I'm sorry. They're not
investable.

AMAT |
21.06 |
21.11 |
Applied Materials Inc. (AMAT)
AMAT - I have been
reluctant to recommend AMAT,
because I do not like the
semiconductor business...
Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
(AMD)
is in such trouble that let
me put in a caveat here, and
say that I like INTC... I
think AMD is really about to
(sound effect of man jumping
out a window)... and AMAT's
solar division is now on
fire, so I will do a
two-fer... I will
recommend INTC here, off of
AMD... and I will,
indeed, recommend AMAT, off
of the solar division.

 |
Back up the truck -
indicated by Jim, when he
says the stock is so good,
that he would do a
'mon-back' on the stock...
In other words, this is the
sound someone would say to a
truck driver, "Come on
back... " as he is "backing
up the truck" to load up on
his cargo. Translation
for buying stocks:
This recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point. |
|
 |
Stumped. - Of the
2,000+ stocks that Jim
Cramer has in his head, for
which he has an informed
opinion, he sometimes comes
across a caller with a stock
he does not know well enough
to opine on... He then
indicates he is stumped and
will have to come back to
it, after he does some
homework of his own on
the stock. This
usually occurs during the
Lightning Round, when Jim
does not know in advance who
is calling, or what their
stock question is about. |

Definitions of key phrases
used by Jim, known as
"Cramerisms": |
|
 |
Definition: 'Pull the
trigger' is Jim's phrase for making
the decision at that point to trade -
either to 'buy' or
to 'sell' (although he
usually uses the phrase for
buying), as if to say you
should feel comfortable
enough to make the final
decision without looking
back... |
|
 |
Definition: 'Ring
the Register' is Jim's phrase for
selling a stock, and making
it a final sale, that you
should not look back on.
Put it behind you. |
|
 |
Definition: 'Let It Come In' indicates how you
may wait for it to pull back, or have the
stock price come down briefly, as your
chance (after letting it come in) to buy
the rest of your position (i.e., total
number of shares you own in that stock). |
|
 |
Definition: 'backing it up'
or 'doing a 'mon-back' is Jim's
phrase for the metaphor of backing up a
truck to load up on a stock by buying
it. 'Mon-back is short for the
imaginary worker saying, 'Come on
back...' as the truck is backing up to
receive its load... Notice that we use
the little truck icon to indicate where
Jim has mentioned this.
Translation for buying
stocks: This
recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point. |
