MF

6.05

8.13

MF Global Ltd (MF)

MF -  I don't like that.

AUY*

19.13

19.48

Yamana Gold Inc. (AUY*)

AUY* -  Oil's going higher... grains are going to go higher...  and gold is going to $1600.  And Peter Marrone, the terrific CEO of AUY* is going to take you and me there, because I own that for my charitable trust...  You stick with AUY*... you stick with it... That is the best gold stock...

IBKR

25.37

27.15

Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (IBKR)

IBKR -  I like IBKR.  I think that they're a great company.  I read that their well-capitalized.  They issued that statement...  And let me tell you how I feel...  Bear Stearns (BSC), all last week, said that it was well-capitalized...  and then it vanishes...  You know, I want to my name to IBKR, because I think they're really good.  I will say the same thing I said about BSC...  If the liquidity's there... if you have an account there, you'll be fine...  but I can't recommend the stock, even though it's down a lot... not after what happened with MF Global Ltd (MF)...  not after what happened with BSC... So I am going to say 'don't buy.'   I am not going to tell you to sell.  I just don't want you in the stock...

COP*

75.88

77.47

ConocoPhillips (COP*)

COP* -  I'll tell you what I did... I bought it similarly for my charitable trust... in the $80s... and then I bought it again at $70... and then when the stock shot up back to $80, I took a little profit...  I think you should do the same thing.  It was upgraded this morning by somebody... a really terrific call.  They are making a lot of money.  They've got big natural gas, big refining.  Let it come back to $70, and then pull the trigger, get a little bit more... get a better average, and then ride it back higher.  I like that stock.

ANDE

41.47

42.35

Andersons Inc. (ANDE)

ANDE -  ANDE is an ag stock... I still think the ag bull market is alive and well...  Everyone's selling the ag stocks.  Let them come in.  I take my que from Bob Lane, the fabulous CEO from Deere (DE).  When he was on our show, he said there are going to be ups and downs in ag... ups and downs but, ultimately, we're going to be going like this (up)...  He's right... ANDE, on any dip, is right... Potash (POT) is right...  and Agrium (AGU) is right... but not for the next three weeks...no.  I'm talking about for the next three years.  Because we've got world famine and we've got ethanol chewing up the grain, and we need all the fertilizer and all the silos we can get.

POT

155.05

159.24

Potash (POT)

POT

AGU

67.47

69.84

Agrium (AGU)

See ANDE comments above for:
AGU

MHS

42.63

42.70

MedcoHealth Solutions Inc. (MHS)

MHS -  I'll tell you what happened - and it's very interesting - is that Unitedhealth Group, Inc. (UNH*) has signaled that they are going to leave the... maybe go in competition with MHS, and that's freakin' people out...  which has taken some of the luster off a stock that should be going higher, because all it does is make money after every drug goes off patent, and there's going to be a bunch of them in 2012...  I'm telling people to buy it, but if it rallies from this level... if it goes back to $44-47, it may be done.  It had a good run.  We didn't catch the top... that was my bad... but we're going to have to take it and sell it, when it gets back up, because I am now worried about UNH*, which is a stock I own for my charitable trust...  It's just been a disaster, but they're just competing with everybody right now...

ABC

39.09

39.75

Amerisourcebergen Corp. (ABC)

ABC -  That is a wholesaler of pharmaceuticals... it is at its 52-week low...  That makes no sense to me.  I have said that I think the drug stocks are vastly oversold.  This is one... don't buy, don't buy... I'm not going to tell you to buy.  I've got to find out more about why it keeps going down.  But that is a good company... but the whole industry is doing badly.  Today was the first day that the drug stocks started rallying.  Let's keep an eye on that stock, and see if it doesn't start going up in the next couple of days.

BIDU

247.10

256.01

Baidu.com (BIDU)

BIDU -  One of the things that has happened is that all of the speculation has been pulled out of this market...  BIDU is just an absolutely terrific Chinese speculation stock that is just simply... I don't think it can work in this environment until things get better.  It's gotten too hot...  It has gotten too hot for me, and it was my favorite Chinese stock, and I just can't get behind it anymore.  I got back in... lost a little money... and now I'm just saying, listen...  it's too hard.

SGMS

18.02

18.23

Scientific Games Corp. (SGMS)

SGMS -  I have to tell you... I did not... I got this wrong...  I cannot believe they lost all those contracts... I mean, this company was the best-run company in the darn industry, and I just misjudged this... I got this wrong.  My bad... and I don't know what to say.  This is some losing streak they have.  I've got to believe that there's some work there... But they have lost, and I have lost because of them.

CVS

37.52

37.66

CVS Caremark Corp. (CVS)

CVS -  Okay... I sold it for my charitable trust... (buzzer sounds)...  I felt that that whole pharmacy benefit management...  what seems to be happening is... a lot of guys went into that business, and I think that's going to hurt CVS.  And then I got worried because I felt that the drug store business had gotten a little bit cool.  But, at $35, I will get back in... you're absolutely right...

Price target to buy:  $35.00

FRO

42.73

43.21

Frontline Ltd. (FRO)

FRO -  The ship company?  It's got a great dividend... I think the dividend's safe.  I think that FRO is a good stock.  I like that stock, I like that yield... I think you're in okay shape... FRO.

NYX*

56.46

59.39

NYSE Euronext, Inc. (NYX*)

NYX* -  This is the worst stock I have ever picked in my life.  I love Duncan Niederauer, from when he was at Goldman... I think he's a great guy... I think he got a bad hand from John Thain...  I own this stock for my charitable trust and just, every day, it breaks my heart... every single day!...  I plead guilty.  I screwed up.  I was wrong.  I'm sorry... I'm an idiot...

A Charitable Trust stock. - An asterisk next to a stock symbol indicates that Jim mentioned it is a stock that he manages within
his charitable trust portfolio.  You can see the complete portfolio
of stocks here >>

Thumbs up - indicates he would buy the stock or, at the very least, not sell the stock.  We do our best to interpret Jim's opinion on stocks, as we think it is indicated by his comments during the show.  Please read his comments to decide for yourself.

Thumbs down - indicates he has said not to buy or to sell the stock, based on his comments  We do our best to interpret Jim's opinion on stocks, as we think it is indicated by his comments during the show.  Please read his comments to decide for yourself.

Back up the truck - indicated by Jim, when he says the stock is so good, that he would do a 'mon-back' on the stock... In other words, this is the sound someone would say to a truck driver, "Come on back... " as he is "backing up the truck" to load up on his cargo.  Translation for buying stocks:  This recommendation by Jim indicates that, after you do your own homework on the stock, you should feel comfortable loading up on it, as it is in a good position to be bought at this point.

Stumped. - Of the 2,000+ stocks that Jim Cramer has in his head, for which he has an informed opinion, he sometimes comes across a caller with a stock he does not know well enough to opine on...  He then indicates he is stumped and will have to come back to it, after he does some homework of his own on the stock.  This usually occurs during the Lightning Round, when Jim does not know in advance who is calling, or what their stock question is about.

Definitions of key phrases used by Jim, known as "Cramerisms":

Definition:   'Pull the trigger' is Jim's phrase for making the decision at that point to trade - either to 'buy' or to 'sell' (although he usually uses the phrase for buying), as if to say you should feel comfortable enough to make the final decision without looking back...

Definition:   'Ring the Register' is Jim's phrase for selling a stock, and making it a final sale, that you should not look back on.  Put it behind you.

Definition:  'Let It Come In' indicates how you may wait for it to pull back, or have the stock price come down briefly, as your chance (after letting it come in) to buy the rest of your position (i.e., total number of shares you own in that stock).

Definition:  'backing it up' or 'doing a 'mon-back' is Jim's phrase for the metaphor of backing up a truck to load up on a stock by buying it.  'Mon-back is short for the imaginary worker saying, 'Come on back...' as the truck is backing up to receive its load... Notice that we use the little truck icon to indicate where Jim has mentioned this.  Translation for buying stocks:  This recommendation by Jim indicates that, after you do your own homework on the stock, you should feel comfortable loading up on it, as it is in a good position to be bought at this point.
