MICC |
89.22 |
na |
Millicom International
Cellular (MICC)
MICC - International
cellular company... I wish you
had more room to purchase some.
I do believe in the company.
Now, I think a lot of chartists
are weighing on the stock
saying, listen, it obviously has
a bad head and shoulders
chart... I say, give me a break!
Some of the stocks that I've
shorted, with a head and
shoulders pattern, got takeover
bids. I'm saying the
same on MICC. But I like
your stock very much. It's
got momentum... it's got good
earnings... It's just
expensive, and a lot of
expensive stocks are coming in.
I want you to buy some...

CCJ |
35.82 |
na |
Cameco Corp. (CCJ)
CCJ - You know, if I
want nuclear exposure, I'm going
to buy
ABB Ltd. (ABB),
or maybe I will buy...
Well, ABB's probably the best
nuclear play, other than
Shaw Group Inc. (SGR).
I don't want to buy uranium.
I think uranium is too dicey...
Remember, they had that big
accident at that mine... I don't
want uranium... It's too, too
speculative for this guy.
Everytime we've tried it, we've
failed.

HON |
58.03 |
na |
Honeywell
(HON)
HON - They got this
Umbraer contract today... It's
like a multiple... $20
billion... and the stock was
barely up. That's wrong.
Dave Cote (CEO) has
revolutionized this company.
I thought, with
Boeing (BA)
up big, I would buy HON...
I think HON has more things
going for it... more
positives... and Dave Cote, who
runs it is just a total
under-promise, over-deliver
play...
Pull the trigger HON.
It should have been up more.

 |
YRCW |
13.32 |
na |
YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW)
YRCW - No.
That's the old Yellow Freight.
I don't want to be there... As a
matter of fact, that's like my
least favorite. I'd rather
see you in a rail.
CSX Corp. (CSX)
just pulled back. Why not
pull the trigger on CSX?
That's Michael Ward. He's
doing a job for you... he is
really good...

GOOG |
464.19 |
na |
Google (GOOG)
GOOG - Remember, we
got rid of the Four Horsemen -
other than
Research
In Motion (RIMM)
- at the end of the year.
They were too dangerous.
Now, let me give you a little
feel on GOOG... I am concerned
that, if Steve Ballmer gets
Yahoo! (YHOO),
he is going to break price and
affect pricing, and he can
afford to do it. Also, the
Google people have to start
showing some discipline.
They spend like drunken
sailors... they keep hiring
everybody. Until they get
their expense structure down, I
am going to have to say don't
buy anymore GOOG, until it's
under $400.
Price target to buy: Under
$400.00
|
|
 |
WY |
63.24 |
na |
Weyerhaeuser Co. (WY)
WY - Oh... all the
lumber stocks fell today.
You got a great dividend.
People are fretting too much on
these great value plays...
I think WY is just a terrific
buy here. It's where I
recommended it. I would
pull the trigger again.
|
|
 |
XOM |
89.70 |
na |
Exxon Mobil (XOM)
XOM - XOM has become
the IBM, in that you'll never go
wrong picking IBM... I
like XOM. Obviously, I
like
ConocoPhillips (COP*)
more... I like the natural gas
plays more... but XOM is what we
call on Wall Street, a core
holding. They buy back a
lot of stock. They have
tremendously undervalued
reserves. They did
replenish 100% of those.
XOM is a great American company,
and I'm never going to tell
anyone not to buy it.

 |
HK |
21.74 |
na |
Petrohawk Energy Corp. (HK)
HK - HK is fabulous.
It hit a 52-week high today...
HK is real good, and any of the
natural gas stocks, on any
discount, I'd buy.
|
|
 |
TRN |
25.82 |
na |
Trinity Industries Inc. (TRN)
TRN - All right,
here's the deal... TRN is a
no-go. Why? I
actually was going to do TRN,
because I did a lot of work on
it... and I realized that
they're just not reordering
those kinds of cars. It's
just not a good play. I
actually believe that
Union Pacific Corp. (UNP),
CSX Corp. (CSX),
Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNI)
and
Norfolk Southern Corp. (NSC)
are better. And I'll tell
you the truth... CSX is better
than a lot of the car companies.
There's not a lot of money being
made there at TRN. I'm
glad I didn't recommend it.

VZ* |
36.02 |
na |
Verizon
(VZ*)
VZ* - I was hurt... my
feeling were hurt... Apparently,
Ivan Siedenburg (CEO) sat down
with
Wachovia Corp. (WB),
and not with Cramer... I
mean, that's crazy.
AT&T (T)
has moved up more than VZ*
lately. I own VZ* for
my charitable trust... I'm
starting to feel very unloved.
(buzzer sounds)... VZ*... come
to Cramer...
|
|
 |
C |
23.58 |
na |
Citigroup (C)
C - You know, I
actually see that they're
starting to do things right at
C. They're selling the
Diner's Card... they're
securitizing some of their bad
loans... They're getting
their arms around the problem.
I'm going to say don't buy, but
I'm starting to see signs of
life, and... they're no longer
on life support... that's the
gentlemanly way to put it...
|
|
 |
DFS |
17.70 |
na |
Discover Financial Services
(DFS)
DFS - No... Discover,
no... Let's give the pecking
order... I like
Mastercard
(MA)
first... I still like it on any
weakness. Remember, it is
not a play on retail, it's a
play on transactions... Then I
like
Visa Inc. (V)...
So we've got that #2. And
#3, I like
American Express (AXP),
and only then, do I come back to
DFS.

ATN |

na |
Atlas Energy Resources LLC

ATN - It's a
hand over fist buy...
pull the trigger. That is one of my
absolute favorite plays, and you
know I love the Marcellus
Shale...

|
 |
Back up the truck -
indicated by Jim, when he
says the stock is so good,
that he would do a
'mon-back' on the stock...
In other words, this is the
sound someone would say to a
truck driver, "Come on
back... " as he is "backing
up the truck" to load up on
his cargo. Translation
for buying stocks:
This recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point. |
|
 |
Stumped. - Of the
2,000+ stocks that Jim
Cramer has in his head, for
which he has an informed
opinion, he sometimes comes
across a caller with a stock
he does not know well enough
to opine on... He then
indicates he is stumped and
will have to come back to
it, after he does some
homework of his own on
the stock. This
usually occurs during the
Lightning Round, when Jim
does not know in advance who
is calling, or what their
stock question is about. |

Definitions of key phrases
used by Jim, known as
"Cramerisms": |
|
 |
Definition: 'Pull the
trigger' is Jim's phrase for making
the decision at that point to trade -
either to 'buy' or
to 'sell' (although he
usually uses the phrase for
buying), as if to say you
should feel comfortable
enough to make the final
decision without looking
back... |
|
 |
Definition: 'Ring
the Register' is Jim's phrase for
selling a stock, and making
it a final sale, that you
should not look back on.
Put it behind you. |
|
 |
Definition: 'Let It Come In' indicates how you
may wait for it to pull back, or have the
stock price come down briefly, as your
chance (after letting it come in) to buy
the rest of your position (i.e., total
number of shares you own in that stock). |
|
 |
Definition: 'backing it up'
or 'doing a 'mon-back' is Jim's
phrase for the metaphor of backing up a
truck to load up on a stock by buying
it. 'Mon-back is short for the
imaginary worker saying, 'Come on
back...' as the truck is backing up to
receive its load... Notice that we use
the little truck icon to indicate where
Jim has mentioned this.
Translation for buying
stocks: This
recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point. |
