ISRG

291.48

na

Intuitive Surgical Inc. (ISRG)

ISRG -  All right, I've been thinking about this...  I said let's wait for a pullback... Here's the problem...  I looked over that quarter, and this feels to me... and this is really important...  ISRG did not blow away the number... unlike Research In Motion (RIMM) which did... which is going higher... unlike Apple (AAPL) which did...  If I were doing Sell Block today, I'd say let's just go home.  We've had a huge gain in ISRG.  I think it's done.  I'd rather see you in Hologic Inc. (HOLX*).   ISRG... Right here, right now, I am saying take it off the table.  I will no longer be responsible after that quarter...  I always feel that what happens is, you're done when you get that big decline, because they didn't raise the numbers enough.  ISRG... ix-nay

CAT

83.33

na

Caterpillar Inc. (CAT)

CAT -  There were analysts who downgraded that stock, because what happened was there were guys who were short the April $80 calls just kind of capitulated and really got hung last week on the stock...  Listen, I sold CAT for my trust...  I sold it badly.  It's one of the great regrets I have financially.  I think that there have been a wholesale shift in CAT's business away from the United States.  I think CAT is one of the greatest companies in the world.  Let me tell you something... I think, three months from now, you're going to hear about countries saying that CAT is dumping product...  Why?  Because the dollar is so pathetic and cheap...  CAT is going to blow its numbers away, I think, for the next year or two, and just take advantage of those analysts who said sell it, and buy, buy, buy!

LLL

113.58

na

L-3 Communications Holdings (LLL)

LLL -  Oh man!  I thought long and hard about LLL, and let me just say that that stock - which I thought would never recover after the management change - continues to go higher, and it's one of my absolute favorite defense plays...  Let's list them... People know I like Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK), because we deal in lead...  People know that I like General Dynamics Corp. (GD)...  I like Northrop Grumman (NOC) and I have not been able to push LLL, even though that's the democrats play, because they do so much surveillance work.  I like LLL.  Good call.

TNE

26.78

na

Tele Norte Leste Participacoes (TNE)

TNE -  TNE... you've got more to come there!  You've got Brazilian horse sense.  I think that TNE is a company that I should have done... that I should have profiled when I did my international telco business...  I like TNE a lot.

HAS

34.65

na

Hasbro Inc. (HAS)

HAS -  Holy cow!  We nailed that one nine ways to Sunday...  That was one beautiful quarter!  And it was like every single product line worked, especially TransFormers, and they own IronMan...  I am telling you right now that this was a beginning of a major HAS move... And, by the way, Mattel Inc. (MAT)... Boo!....  No thank you.  They bought Cranium... that's a great game... and they bought all the rights to Trivial Pursuit... they are doing everything right at HAS.  They are smokin'!

MAT

20.00

na

Mattel Inc. (MAT)

MAT

PRGN

17.12

na

Paragon Shipping Inc. (PRGN)

PRGN -  When it comes to shipping, I have been front and center with one... Frontline Ltd. (FRO)... (buzzer sounds)... I like FRO best.

FRO

na

Frontline Ltd. (FRO)

VLO

53.50

na

Valero Energy Corp. (VLO)

VLO -  VLO's dirt cheap.  I do like Hess Corporation (HES) more... HES had a big move today.  And I've been mulling and mulling and mulling this oil group, and you know what?   I think the integrators are so much better than the individual refiners that I'm going to suggest both Occidental Petroleum Corp. (OXY) and ConocoPhillips (COP*) as better than your play.  Those are two that are better.

RIO

39.25

na

CVRD (RIO)

RIO -  Did you see the move in RIO in the second half of the day?  BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP) and RIO... These stocks cannot be contained by gravity!  I have to tell you...
Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (CLF) is now a double...  BHP, RIO, Freeport-McMoRan (FCX*)...  I think that RIO is absolutely the single cheapest metals stock in the world, because they own - and have a hammer lock on - nickel!   And you can't get enough of it...

BHP

83.55

na

BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP)

Freeport-McMoRan (FCX*)

CMO

13.50

na

Capstead Mortgage Corp. (CMO)

CMO -  You know, that group is having a move.  CMO is participating in it, but it's not my favorite...  Frankly... I would rather see you... after the bank stocks that we saw today, I am still concerned about financials.  Let's reiterate...  What do I like in financials?  I like JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM) and I like Hudson City Bancorp (HCBK), and the rest are - maybe Goldman Sachs (GS*) - sold to you!

Thumbs up - indicates he would buy the stock or, at the very least, not sell the stock.  We do our best to interpret Jim's opinion on stocks, as we think it is indicated by his comments during the show.  Please read his comments to decide for yourself.

Thumbs down - indicates he has said not to buy or to sell the stock, based on his comments  We do our best to interpret Jim's opinion on stocks, as we think it is indicated by his comments during the show.  Please read his comments to decide for yourself.

Back up the truck - indicated by Jim, when he says the stock is so good, that he would do a 'mon-back' on the stock... In other words, this is the sound someone would say to a truck driver, "Come on back... " as he is "backing up the truck" to load up on his cargo.  Translation for buying stocks:  This recommendation by Jim indicates that, after you do your own homework on the stock, you should feel comfortable loading up on it, as it is in a good position to be bought at this point.

Stumped. - Of the 2,000+ stocks that Jim Cramer has in his head, for which he has an informed opinion, he sometimes comes across a caller with a stock he does not know well enough to opine on...  He then indicates he is stumped and will have to come back to it, after he does some homework of his own on the stock.  This usually occurs during the Lightning Round, when Jim does not know in advance who is calling, or what their stock question is about.

Definitions of key phrases used by Jim, known as "Cramerisms":

Definition:   'Pull the trigger' is Jim's phrase for making the decision at that point to trade - either to 'buy' or to 'sell' (although he usually uses the phrase for buying), as if to say you should feel comfortable enough to make the final decision without looking back...

Definition:   'Ring the Register' is Jim's phrase for selling a stock, and making it a final sale, that you should not look back on.  Put it behind you.

Definition:  'Let It Come In' indicates how you may wait for it to pull back, or have the stock price come down briefly, as your chance (after letting it come in) to buy the rest of your position (i.e., total number of shares you own in that stock).

Definition:  'backing it up' or 'doing a 'mon-back' is Jim's phrase for the metaphor of backing up a truck to load up on a stock by buying it.  'Mon-back is short for the imaginary worker saying, 'Come on back...' as the truck is backing up to receive its load... Notice that we use the little truck icon to indicate where Jim has mentioned this.  Translation for buying stocks:  This recommendation by Jim indicates that, after you do your own homework on the stock, you should feel comfortable loading up on it, as it is in a good position to be bought at this point.
