OESX |
10.39 |
10.45 |
Orion Energy Systems, Inc
(OESX)
OESX - It's got this
lighting business that's not
that good frankly. And
this has got energy
management... If you want
energy management, you know I'm
going to send you to the
Eaton (ETN)s...
to the
Emerson (EMR)s...
to the
Honeywell
(HON)s...
Those are all better than your
pick...

PCP |
109.93 |
109.00 |
Precision Castparts (PCP)
PCP - PCP is just a
buy here. Everyone keeps
reacting and saying you can't
touch anything that has to do
with aerospace, because the
American airline business is
bad. May I caution people
that there's a bigger picture.
I want you to go to the
FedEx (FDX)
conference call and listen
to what they have to say about
bringing on new aircraft and
saving fuel. People are
missing the fuel-save story, and
PCP is part of it!

PRGN |
17.70 |
17.55 |
Paragon Shipping Inc. (PRGN)
PRGN - When we're
talking shipping, you know we're
talking about another...
The one to own here is
Frontline (FRO).
It's got the best dividend...
15% yield, 52-week high... That
has been the one that I'm am
doing. The other ones are
not easy.

BWLD |
26.53 |
26.39 |
Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. (BWLD)
BWLD - I'm afraid one
day, we're going to wake up and
find them not locked in and,
therefore, be at the mercy of
the ethanol lobby... 30% of our
corn goes to 3% of our gasoline.
Nobody likes it, except for the
politicians.
|
|
 |
PFE |
17.38 |
17.39 |
Pfizer (PFE)
PFE - Here's the
problem with PFE...
They're levered to the financial
services business, which is why
this stock keeps going lower.
Anything that is levered to the
financial services business is
no good... sorry.
|
|
 |
NAT |
38.64 |
38.26 |
Nordic American Tanker (NAT)
NAT - Here's the
problem... NAT is real good...
we love Herb... We think that's
stock is good, but it's still
not as good as
Frontline (FRO).
Let's keep it real simple.
FRO is best in show... FRO is
best in show...

SQM |
53.53 |
54.48 |
Sociedad Quimica Y Minera de Chile
(SQM)
SQM - Now here's a
stock that I recommended that
then flew up $5... Well, that
was stupid. It's a Chilean
company and Americans took it
up. So then it goes down
to $51. It makes me feel
like I got slapped in the face
and whipped... But now,
it's coming back... and SQM,
which is lithium and
fertilizer... No connection to
my friend
Bunge (BG)
that bought
Corn Products International Inc.
(CPO)
today... SQM must be
bought, for those that have
missed the
ag move so far...
|
|
 |
FLIR |
39.44 |
39.36 |
FLIR Systems Inc. (FLIR)
FLIR - Man, I've been
a big supporter of FLIR for
about 20 points... This is a
company that is just doing
great. It's the only
defense company that, because it
does home(land) security... that
people feel will win, whether
it's Obama or whether it is
McCain. I say
pull the trigger if you're not in
it. I like the stock.
(buzzer sounds)
|
|
 |
TITN |
33.35 |
33.91 |
Titan Machinery, Inc. (TITN)
TITN - TITN is
terrific! Come on man...
have some faith! Have some
faith! The stock has just
flatlined for now, but I think
the stock is just a fantastic,
ready-to-roll play. No...
no sellers of TITN.
|
|
 |
NCOC |
10.55 |
10.53 |
National Coal Corp. (NCOC)
NCOC - First of all,
we know that every single coal
company that we follow is a buy.
Now I know that sounds almost
facetious, but the Chinese have
been absolutely nut-jobby about
buying everybody's coal now, so
we want to be in there.
Now, the one that you have is
one of the few that is not
making money, so may I say that
that's a speculative play on
coal, and I still want to go
back to the
Peabody Energy (BTU)
well! I am a buyer of BTU,
even up here. I think that
BTU - yeah, British Thermal
Unit, isn't that a cute name -
is the way to go, even up $4.
Coal can't be clean... It can be
cleaner, and BTU is going to
$100!

Back up the truck -
indicated by Jim, when he
says the stock is so good,
that he would do a
'mon-back' on the stock...
In other words, this is the
sound someone would say to a
truck driver, "Come on
back... " as he is "backing
up the truck" to load up on
his cargo. Translation
for buying stocks:
This recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point. |
|
 |
Stumped. - Of the
2,000+ stocks that Jim
Cramer has in his head, for
which he has an informed
opinion, he sometimes comes
across a caller with a stock
he does not know well enough
to opine on... He then
indicates he is stumped and
will have to come back to
it, after he does some
homework of his own on
the stock. This
usually occurs during the
Lightning Round, when Jim
does not know in advance who
is calling, or what their
stock question is about. |

Definitions of key phrases
used by Jim, known as
"Cramerisms": |
|
 |
Definition: 'Pull the
trigger' is Jim's phrase for making
the decision at that point to trade -
either to 'buy' or
to 'sell' (although he
usually uses the phrase for
buying), as if to say you
should feel comfortable
enough to make the final
decision without looking
back... |
|
 |
Definition: 'Ring
the Register' is Jim's phrase for
selling a stock, and making
it a final sale, that you
should not look back on.
Put it behind you. |
|
 |
Definition: 'Let It Come In' indicates how you
may wait for it to pull back, or have the
stock price come down briefly, as your
chance (after letting it come in) to buy
the rest of your position (i.e., total
number of shares you own in that stock). |
|
 |
Definition: 'backing it up'
or 'doing a 'mon-back' is Jim's
phrase for the metaphor of backing up a
truck to load up on a stock by buying
