NDAQ |
42.37 |
42.90 |
NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc.
NDAQ - They've done a
good job. And yet, I still
don't like it as much as NYSE
Euronext (NYX*).
Why? Because, in the end,
NDAQ is an American company, and
NYX* is a European company with
an American tail... NYX*,
which I own for
my charitable trust, and has been
one of my stocks of the year,
has been grueling, but it did
get back to where I recommended
it, two weeks ago, and I think
it will keep going back, and I
want to own it!

 |
BRCD |
8.29 |
8.39 |
Brocade Communications
Systems Inc.
BRCD - Yes! Right here.
Right here BRCD! ('mon-back
sound)... The Cisco (CSCO)
problem is not a problem.
I've been on that conference
call. Only 13% of their
business was affected, and that
was entirely one auto company,
one retailer, and a couple of
banks. It drove BRCD down.
BRCD deserves to be bought here.
Their business is strong!
|
|
 |
NSR |
33.19 |
33.58 |
NeuStar, Inc.
NSR - Why am I not
recommending NSR? Because
AT&T (T)
is on sale... because Verizon
(VZ)
is on sale... and I would rather
go with those genuine blue-chip
names in what I think is going
to be a tough market between
here and year-end...

VCLK |
21.92 |
22.20 |
ValueClick Inc.
VCLK - Look, I'm a whipping
boy for VCLK... Why?
Because I've liked it for three
years. I like it on a
takeover basis... I like it when
the FTC gets solved... People
hate me... I am so hated... One
of the reasons why I'm hated is
that I still like VCLK, and I
still think it'll be
purchased... AOL (TWX)
just bought Quigo, for heaven's
sake. I think VCLK should
be bought... The FTC
decision will be eventually
rendered and they will be back
in the game.

|
 |
UPL |
65.56 |
66.48 |
Ultra Petroleum Corp.
UPL - Look, I am alone, at
this point... I am alone in
liking natural gas and oil, so
that makes me very, very happy.
I want to invite Watley... he's
the CEO of UPL. He's doing
a MAGNIFICIENT job. He's
drilling like mad. UPL,
Apache (APA),
and XTO Energy (XTO*),
which I own for
my charitable trust... Those
are the companies that believe
in oil and natural gas going
higher. They are right.
The critics are wrong! I'm
selling the critics. I'm
buying XTO*, I'm buying UPL, and
I'm buying APA!...

 |
YHOO* |
26.10 |
26.42 |
Yahoo! Inc.
YHOO* - I think that Alibaba's
worth $4 per share to YHOO*, no
more than that, so let's not get
too carried away... I
think YHOO* can go back to $30,
because of the valuation, but
that's not what I'm in... I
think, and I said this
yesterday, the one that I like
the best is Google (GOOG),
at $660... I think GOOG can go
up, and go to $750... That's
been my price target. It's
going to go back there.
Don't forget... The stock went
to $747 last week. I think
it's headed right back there.

Google Inc.

Price target: $750.00

|
 |
DLB |
49.49 |
50.14 |
Dolby Laboratories Inc.
DLB - That was a monster-good
quarter. We've been
recommending that stock for
about 50%. A difficult
call to keep coming in there at
this height, but I do like DLB.
The fundamentals are good.
|
|
 |
TEG |
52.01 |
52.18 |
Integrys Energy Group, Inc.
TEG - It used to be Wisconsin
Electric or Wisconsin Power...
It's good, it's good (buzzer
sounds)... It's got good
growth... I'm not going to fight
you on it. I've been using
Con Ed (ED),
and I like
Exelon (EXC)...
Yours is fine, though.
Yours is fine.

Back up the truck -
indicated by Jim, when he
says the stock is so good,
that he would do a
'mon-back' on the stock...
In other words, this is the
sound someone would say to a
truck driver, "Come on
back... " as he is "backing
up the truck" to load up on
his cargo. Translation
for buying stocks:
