JAVAD - I thought that
quarter was good but, suddenly,
Cisco (CSCO) says something
remotely negative, and then,
Boom!... even though Network
Appliance Inc. (NTAP)
had great numbers tonight.
Here's my take... I do not think
that JAVAD should be sold, but
it doesn't seem to have what's
known as the leverage... It gets
sales... it's not making enough
money with the sales... but I am
not going to recommend that you
buy it - don't buy, don't buy -
or sell it right here.
This is no-man's land.

opened at $26, and then it goes
to $31... We've got to wait...

heavily for sale... It's
momentum-oriented. I've

USNA - I looked at
that last week, when we had
Herbalife Ltd. (HLF)
on... The stock's up a dollar,
but it's way off the low... So
is NutriSystem Inc. (NTRI).
Those things are all trading
like dogs. Here's my
take... I had Johnson on from
HLF. We understand that
they're just under fire... but I
like HLF more than USNA.
This group does have a stench to
it, but HLF stinks less than the
others.

gentleman who run those
companies, welcome on the
show...

WYNN - Let me tell you
something... I got an email
today from a guy... I know he's
short Las Vegas Sands (LVS)...
He said he just came back from
Macau... there was no one
there... But I went to my
friend, Charles Norton, who runs
the vice stocks, who recommended
us to buy WYNN about 50 points
ago (i.e., when it was $50 lower
in price) and LVS about 50
points ago, and he says no, hold
onto the group... the group is
going to come back. My
personal feeling is, in this
market, those stocks are too
expensive, and I'm giving you a
don't buy, don't buy... I've got
a lot of fabulous stocks that
have been beaten up... I've got
the Colgate-Palmolive Co.
(CL)
and the Coca-Cola Co. (KO)
and the Pepsico, Inc. (PEP)
and they're all good, so let's
not risk it... Let's not risk it
on expensive stocks here.

education stocks are hot.
There was a very nice piece
today about ITT (ESI).
I like STRA. I like ESI.
These are right, but that's a
$170 stock, so let me give you
more caveats... If you're a
mutual fund manager, and you
need to raise cash, you're going
to go after the $170 stock, so
you've got to use what I call a
"wide scale"... If you want to
buy STRA, you buy 25 shares at
$170, and then wait for $150 for
another 25...

Mike Farrell... Man, he's about
as good as it gets. NLY
goes down everytime the rumor is
that the Fed's not going to
cut... Everytime the rumor is
that the Fed is going to cut, it
goes up... I think the Fed has
to cut. They don't even
know they have to cut... I want
to bet with Mike Farrell.
He's got a good yield.
He's levered to the short
interest rates going up...
I think NLY is one of the best
stocks to own in this particular
environment...

MTD - That's a great
stock. It's had a huge
run. You know, this is
just one of those classic
weights and measures plays...
It's kind of a sleeper stock...
It's not going to do anything
untoward to you... it's not
going to break your heart...
It's just going to kind of go up
over time and that, my friends,
is exactly what we want from a
stock, so I'm sticking with it.
I think it's terrific...

that stock! You've got the
strong Canadian dollar, so it
looks even better. I like
RCI. I recommended it
lower. I like Canada, by
the way... I think Canada's
still going good... I like the
Loonie (Canadian dollar) too...
That is my favorite stock
involving media right now, and I
can't even look at where Time
Warner Inc. (TWX)'s
gone, and I feel so bad for the
great people at Comcast Corp.
(CMCSA).
It's a nightmare...
