submit five stocks
that make up their
largest positions in
their portfolio.
He then comments on
whether or not they
are properly
diversified.
The first caller had
the following
portfolio of five
stocks, on which Jim
commented,
with his opinion
shown below them...

Jim:
Interesting grouping
here…. Corning... I
think it’s finally
bottomed, boy that
stock has been
shelled, I like that
that’s a tech
stock…. Gilead...
I own
it for
ActionAlertsPlus.com, my
charitable trust,
I think that is the
best Obama bio tech
stock there is, it
has come down
nicely… Apple... I
don’t want to talk
about (CEO, Steve) Jobs' health
anymore, I like the
company very much…
but bear with me….
Chevron... I sold it
yesterday for my
trust it has moved
up too much but it
has good yield when
it comes under $70.…
Fluor is
infrastructure…
So,
what do you have?...
An
infrastructure play,
biotech, oil, uh
oh, two techs…
that’s no good….
ix-nay…
that scares me… so I
want you to sell
Apple and keep
Corning… Corning is
too cheap. That is
my bet. That is what
I would do there.
The verdict:
Sell Apple, and keep
Corning to make this
portfolio more
diversified.
You can’t have an
overlap.

Jim:
Let’s go right to
work… one of the
best utility
companies... FPL...
he has Verizon, Eric
Steinberg confirming
everything we said
last night on the
show in today’s
CitiGroup
conference… Wyeth...
one of the finest
drug stocks, I like
some of the higher
yielders, but I do
like bio tech
acquisition they are
apparently going to
make… Disney...
we think that Bob
Yeager is fabulous,
we get gasoline back
down, we get good
travel there…. Coca
Cola...
Is it my favorite in
the group? No, but
it is steady, it has
good dollar
exposure, and it has
been beaten down
with a good yield…
So, we have a
beverage company,
we’ve got an
entertainment
company, we’ve got a
drug company, we’ve
got a Telco, and
we've got a
utility...
The verdict:
Diversified.
Yes, that man knows
how to play.

Jim:
Eaton, we had Sandy
Cutler on yesterday,
and the stock has
pulled back a little
bit… I think if it
gets in the $40’s
you have got that
accidental high
yielder again that
is notorious,
B.I.G., and I am
going to
mispronounce some of
the other guys….
Eagle Materials has
been...
that is a really
deep cyclic stock
that needs housing
and roads to come
back…. JNJ... I own
this for
ActionAlertsPlus.com, my
charitable trust…like
I do Eaton… this is
the best growth
dividend payer…
Altria... do not worry
about the excise
stock it is built
into the
stock….Clean Energy...
that is spec…. that
is spec, drug,
machinery, homes,
tobacco…
The verdict:
Diversified.
Yes, total house of
pleasure. I like
that man.
