SGR |
24.60 |
Shaw Group Inc. (SGR)
Q: Tell
me something about Shaw Group?...
Jim: Shaw Group, a local
company for you… alright, I am no longer
that high on infrastructure but Shaw has
got the book in business because of
nuclear… and I would tell you that I
would recommend that stock but only to
$30.

 |
DOV |
23.71 |
Dover Corp. (DOV)
Q: I
inherited Dover Corporation?...
Jim: You know Dover Corp
is the great American classic industrial
company… you know that it doesn’t yield
enough, it only yields about 4%… I
thought it was a higher yield by now…
but Dover is just a great company that
is going to do better when the economy
gets better… but until then, I got
others that I like more, honestly… I got
others industrials that I like more that
have higher yields.

 |
K |
36.17 |
Kellogg Co. (K)
Q:
Kelloggs?...
Jim: I don’t know…
alright, look it is a 52 week low, so I
am not going to go against Kelloggs… but
I will tell you that as that goes higher
I am not that hot on that one or Heinz…
neither one has enough domestic
business… they are both so hurt by this
strong dollar… that I cannot get behind
Kellogg or
Heinz (HNZ)…
.and I want to scale out as they go
higher.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
(GT)
Q: How
about Goodyear Tire?...
Jim: GT I am just not
that crazy about… I saw some
recommendations of it today… scale out
of that one… I just think that they have
got a terrible cost structure… I am not
a buyer, I am a seller.

|
 |
MGM |
2.87 |
MGM Mirage (MGM)
Q: I have
a question about MGM Mirage?...
Jim: Oh come on, I don’t
even know if that company can make it
here… I am going to throw in Las Vegas
Sands… by the way everybody gets very
excited about a lot of stocks on a very
up day…. it doesn’t change the
fundamentals for an MGM… it doesn’t
change it for
Las Vegas Sands (LVS)…
it doesn’t change it for Goodyear Tire…
let’s keep that in mind.

Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI)
Q: We
have a question about Chicago Bridge and
Iron?...
Jim: Look, it is a
little spec name… it is a $5 spec name…
I am always willing to endorse that ,
but remember it is not going to be in
your infrastructure part of your
portfolio if you call in for Am I
Diversified… it is going to be in your
spec part of your portfolio… because I
do not, do not like that company… they
have screwed up too many times… hey,
don’t take it personal guys in Chicago,
but you did screw up.

MDU |
13.70 |
MDU Resources Group Inc.
(MDU)
Q: I am
looking at the stock MDU Resources?...
Jim: Hey, no come on,
chief… I have got
Dominion Resources Inc. (D)
that is better… we had that Jim Rogers
on last night from
Duke Energy (DUK),
I like that one better… I like
Exelon Corp. (EXC)
better… and I like
Edison International (EIX)
better… there are four utilities that I
like better than yours… all of which
yield better than you.

Dow Chemical Co. (DOW)
Q: I am
interested on your thoughts on Dow
Chemical?...
Jim: Alright, listen I
have got to tell you… that guy LIveris,
I mean no, he is the worst… he is the
worst CEO, he is on the wall… no, I
cannot buy this as long as he is there…
they bought this
Rohm & Haas (ROH),
they paid top dollar… no, I am not
touching that stock… no way.
|
|
 |
INTC |
13.92 |
Intel (INTC)
Q:
Intel?...
Jim: No earnings about
Intel… up with a lot of the other
semi-conductors… this is a nice little
rally that we have got going… when the
stock gets to $14.15, ring the register…
I just don’t see enough upside there.
Price target to sell: $14.00
- $15.00

 |
BK |
20.56 |
Bank of New York Mellon
Corp. (BK)
Q: I am
looking at BK, Bank of NY Mellon, it has
a yield of 4.7%?...
Jim: I know… I know, it
is a good bank… I am not recommending
any other banks other than
JPMorgan (JPM*)…
and
Goldman Sachs (GS*)
and
Morgan Stanley (MS*)…
so it is not covered… I would like to
scale out of that stock into the bank
stock rally… as a matter of fact, let’s
try to be out of that by Friday… try to
be out of that stock by Friday… I just
have other bank stocks that I like much
more.
