Q:     My question is about U.S. Steel...   It has a dividend of $1.20 and a 6% yield, how do you feel about US Steel?...

Jim:   Okay, here is what happened… Let me tell you exactly what happened today… and it is a little bit interesting… there was a call… let me see if I can get the firm… I believe it was JP Morgan, JP Morgan indeed told you today that they believe that U.S. Steel could violate its debt covenants… that freaked everybody out because it means that the bond bullies are going to take over for the common stock… I say wait a second, John Sirna come on the show and tell us JP Morgan is wrong… because U.S. Steel has now fallen from $193 all the way down to the teens… that is as bad as it did in the Great Depression for heavens sake… I think that Sirna should be heard from before I back that JP Morgan call… John Sirna come on the show.

Q:     What is with Netscout Systems(NTCT)?   They have had some solid reports this year and they bought a competitor but they are down 30% today...

Jim:   Yeah, you know what… I think this is the time not to speculate in spec… not when we have Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) at the low end and I think can go up… and Hewlett-Packard (HPQ*), an ActionAlertsPlus.com name, that has been absolutely crushed and I think unfairly… both of them are better than Netscout… I want to buy Taiwan Semi… I want to buy Hewlett Packard… I want to sell Netscout.
