Jim:   Daktronics reminds me of my friend Dan Reveal, who has done features about it… this is the big LED scoreboards, they make the jumbotrons, but they also make advertising… they make those advertising that switch… and the problem is that people think that they are somewhat dangerous, because they keep switching and your like looking at them rather than looking at the road… also, because advertising is down in the dumps… this stock is at $7 and yet I still can’t pull the trigger… I say don’t buy, don’t buy… and if it goes to $10 sell it.

Jim:   We are going to give Carol Bartz a chance… Carol Bartz is a money maker, she is the CEO… I think she pulls the company together… I am betting with Carol Bartz on Yahoo… and I am saying, buy, buy, buy…. which is quite contrary to what everyone else is thinking… Carol Bartz is always welcome on this show… used to host Squawk Box, she is really fabulous.

Jim:   I have to tell you Time Warner is doing everything right but it just doesn’t seem to matter… and it doesn’t matter because in the end it is media… and media is just not doing well… and I am not going to be able to call a bottom in Time Warner… they are doing the right thing AOL… they are doing the right thing cable… it just doesn’t matter, it is media… and media is in a permanent bear market… and it is a secular decline… it is not a cyclical decline, it is not involved in the economy… it just keeps going down a little bit each month… and I cannot get behind that… nor any newspaper, anything like that.

Jim:   No, I am concerned about Boeing… I happen to think that this is going to be one of the poor performing stocks in the Dow… I don’t like the competitive landscape… I don’t like the fact that the airlines aren’t doing well… I don’t like the fact that some of the big buyers of airlines, including the leasing companies, aren’t doing well… I want to stay away from Boeing.

Jim:   Oh man, carbon fibers is so "2007" my friend… the only thing that that thing has going for it is a decent chart… I am not going to get behind carbon fibers… I am not going to get behind wind mills… I am like the anti Don Quixote… I am saying steer clear of Zoltek… stear clear of carbon fibers.
