L

24.86

Loews Corp. (L)

Jim:   I have great faith in the Tisches… I like the mix of business with insurance and the Diamond Offshore (DO)… and I think that you want to buy Loews right here… it has come down too much already

S

4.19

Sprint Nextel Corp. (S)

Jim:   I am going to give you a threesome… I like
Verizon (VZ)... AT&T (T)... I know that nobody else does… the stock is going to move up… but that is okay, you are paid to wait for a turn in the business and I think that Sprint Nextel is an excellent speculation buy… and I have been keeping it that way since the price of $4... and I am sticking with it as a spec buy… not an investment… a spec buy.

VZ

31.00

Verizon (VZ)

PALM

9.81

Palm, Inc. (PALM)

Jim:   Palm has left me behind… I do not feel that I have right to opine on it, I thought that it was going to stop at $7, $8.. I misjudged the stock… I do not have a good call on Palm… I am going to take a pass.

WEC

39.82

Wisconsin Energy Corp. (WEC)

Jim:   I like Wisconsin Energy, I brought management on… but I am a dividend hound… so therefore I am going to put you on to Dominion (D) or yes, Kevin Burke, and ED, Consolidated Edison Inc. (ED), because they both give you 6% and I do not think that they are going to have no problems with cap-n-trade.

HOLX

13.80

Hologic Inc. (HOLX)

Jim:   I feel like I have got burned in Hologic… I did not like that last acquisition, they had a history of making really good acquisitions… they came on the show all the time, I endorsed them… somebody screwed up, did Cramer screw up… I own it… I mean that I own the screw up… I do not own it… I feel like their whole logic is a Missouri situation… they have got to show us that they have the goods… I know that it just spiked on their news… but I need to see more than that… cause I liked it much, much higher.

PFG

14.87

Principal Financial Group Inc. (PFG)

Jim:   I have to tell you that I do not have any conviction about PFG… I saw that Hartford Financial Services (HIG) is going to be selling its property casualty… people like that… may I recommend that you buy both, that you buy Travelers (TRV), I know that my friend Doug Cass doesn’t like it, but I think Travelers buys the property and casualty business from Hartford… and Travelers goes up huge on it.

TRV

40.21

Travelers (TRV)

TRV

NOK

14.80

Nokia (NOK)

Jim:   I would rather have you own QualComm Inc. (QCOM*), it is the guts, it is the brains of almost every cell phone out there… QCOM,* I think the quarter is real good, that is the one that I want to be in

QCOM*

40.73
