Wal-Mart (WMT*)
Jim: Alright, I have
to admit, in pure candor here, I own it
for
ActionAlertsPlus.com, my
charitable trust...about
two or three hours ago I sent
out a bulletin taking a little
profit in Wal-Mart, why… because
I think Wal-Mart up a couple of
bucks is going to stall here,
why… people like recovery
stocks… they suddenly like
Macy's
(M)
more, they like J. C. Penney (JCP)
more, they like
Nordstrom Inc. (JWN)
more, they like
Kohl's (KSS)
more… I think the stock marks
time, even though I like it long
term.

DNDN |
22.94 |
Dendreon Corp. (DNDN)
Jim: I am not
qualified to answer Dendreon…
because the stock was just up 15
points… I have got to tell you,
this seems like a short squeeze
to me… I am a big believer in
taking profits when I see a
short squeeze… so I am going to
recommend taking profits.

JEC |
40.00 |
Jacobs Engineering Group,
Inc. (JEC)
Jim: I was surprised,
you know Jacobs Engineering
holds up pretty well even though
a lot of people disappointed by
that quarter… I saw
Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI)
have a good quarter the other
day, I am soured somewhat by
infrastructure plays… why…
because they seem to really need
just very much some clarity
about cap-n-trade… they need
some clarity about where oil is
going… so I am neutral… I am
don’t buy, don’t buy.

NUE |

Nucor (NUE)
Jim: I am worried
about the steels… here is why,
"letter X" the other day,
United States Steel Corp.
(X),
John Syrma reported a number
that was really just flat out
awful… and then they did a
secondary, and the secondary
didn’t go all that well… that
makes me concerned about the
steel companies… I think that
Nucor has got the best product
number profile… however, I do
not think that it is going to do
well… I talked to the wonderful
and fabulous, Erin Burnett,
today about appliance sales
going up… but that is
cold-rolled steel… I think that
Nucor, really all is does is buy
time to actually go down a
little… I am not a buyer.

ATVI |

Activision Blizzard Inc. (ATVI)
Jim: No, we are not a
big buyer of that one, or
Electronic Arts (ERTS),
or any of those companies… we
think that if you have to be in
that business, you own
GameStop (GME).

Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ)
Jim: Canadian Natural
Resources is doing a deal… and I
do not care for… this is the oil
and gas play… I have been very
adamant that I am a buyer of
ConocoPhillips (COP*)
and I am a buyer of
BP plc (BP*)…
I like both of those… I would
swap out of yours and go into
mine.
