Full Company Name & Jim's Comments:

WMI

26.95

Waste Management (WMI)

Jim:   Alright... Waste Management yields more than 4% which, frankly, is ridiculous. David Steiner is a great CEO. He's working, making money hand over fist... I want to buy right here... WMI!

DRYS

10.70

DryShips, Inc. (DRYS)

Jim:   Alright... This trades off the Baltic Dry Index, which I got around 9am this morning. It was up 8.9%, which indicated that Dry Ships, which you often see when you watch Squawk... this stock being taken... It's a direct play on the Baltic Dry Freight (index)... It is the speculative player in the group. Do you mind if I recommend Frontline Ltd. (FRO) as the less speculative player in the group... And, don't forget, Nordic American Tanker (NAT), still going higher. But DRYS is the speculative name, because it had a debt coveted problem.

FRO

24.63

Frontline Ltd. (FRO)

NAT

36.72

Nordic American Tanker (NAT)

THC

2.38

Tenet Healthcare (THC)

Jim:   No... look, I've got to tell you... It's a $2 stock that I recommended higher, and then I took the profit. I don't want to go back. I've got to tell you. I think there are a lot better healthcare names... Understand... this is a market that loves... what's the trinity?... What's the trilogy?... It loves banks, it loves oil and it loves tech... and this is just really hard to swing right now.

POT

96.04

Potash (POT)

Jim:   Look, I've got to send you to Terra Nitrogen Company, L.P. (TNH), because that's got a better yield, and I've liked that one the whole way... and... new name, new name... after taking a beating and walking away from it... Sociedad Quimica Y Minera de Chile (SQM). Up a dollar. What is that? That's a Chilean fertilizer company, that also has lithium in it, and I don't mean the kind that I should be taking, given the frenetic and schizophrenic way that I'm doing this Lighting Round...

TNH

DPS

20.60

Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (DPS)

Jim:   No, I've got enough problems owning Pepsi (PEP*) for my charitable trust. I'm not going to get down and buy DPS, although I was impressed, speaking of, in that same ilk... Papa John's International Inc. (PZZA) had a good number, and I happen to like Papa John's pizza very much... but, look at that... PZZA had a great number. This is typical of what I deal with... It was up a dollar. If it had been an oil company and reported a great number, it would have been up $4... If it was a bank and reported a great number, it would have been up $8... So I cannot recommend DPS. I don't like the ConAgra (CAG). I'm not going to go with the Tenet Healthcare (THC). I do like the drillers... I do like the banks, and I do like technology...

CAG
