Jim: You know I
recommended Haynes… we had a very quick
big run… it was off my friends at CRT
Capital, which they are really
excellent… we had a great run, that came
back.. this is an aerospace play and a
chemical play… I have to tell you that I
think that we are going to have to see
Boeing (BA)
rally before this one goes up… I think
that Boeing will… this stock is a very
cheap stock… but remember, it is only a
$319M market cap… you have to be very
careful.

know more about this when a CFO, we get
a new CFO.. you are absolutely right… I
do not know this CFO… I do know very
strongly that Carol Bartz the CEO of
Yahoo has been doing a housecleaning,
doing everything right… I remain a buyer
of Yahoo… and let me give you a two-fer,
we had some really good comments today
by Donahue the CEO of
eBay Inc. (EBAY),
saying that he sees a turn there… so we
are going to buy some Yahoo… and we are
going to buy some eBay.

Jim: First, we know
that
Freeport (FCX*)
is copper, mostly copper and a little
bit of gold… when you are buying Newmont
you are buying all gold… I do not like
the fining costs in Newmont, it is not
my favorite… I like
Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. (AEM)
first, I like
Eldorado Gold Corp. (EGO)
second… but do not forget, the
SPDR Gold ETF
(GLD)
is also a good way to play… Agnico Eagle
has been stronger… I do, by the way,
congratulate on that Freeport purchase…
you are up nice… now lets not be too
greedy… lets remember, bulls make money,
bears make money, but hogs get
slaughtered.

Jim: I happen to
think the world of Al Mulally, I think
he is doing an unbelievable job.. he is
going up against two governments spots
and enterprises in Chrysler and
General Motors
(GM),
that is daunting… I would prefer to buy
the preferreds of Ford… but I tell you
what, I think that it is a speculation…
Ford is a good one on the pullback…
remember they did a gigantic equity
offering at $4.34, so maybe we need it
to come in a little bit more before we
buy more.

Jim: I like that, but
I have got to tell you something… that
is levered to the Unites States and the
gigantic $40B Chinese infrastructure is
what we are playing… the Chinese
infrastructure, wireless, mobile,
internet… of which by the way
QualComm Inc. (QCOM*),
of which I own for
ActionAlertsPlus.com, my
charitable trust,
preannounce a better than expected
quarter.. the bears held it down all
day… it was like they were holding it
under water… it was really scary… it was
like they were water boarding the darn
thing… I think that Qualcomm goes
higher… that is a better play than
American Tower.
