IRBT |

iRobot Corp. (IRBT)
Jim: iRobot is a
better movie than a stock. I say
ix-nay. Not a lot of momentum
there. No... Don't buy, don't
buy... Let's not buy.

Jim: Alright, I
talked to the wonderful and fabulous
(CNBC anchor) Erin Burnett, who has seen
the new RIMM flipphone, and I have to
tell you, RIMM is so low, and its
selling at 14x next year's earnings.
That's an outrage. Now, I have...
in full disclosure... liked RIMM for
three straight years. So, I liked
it below here, I liked it at $140...
You could argue that there are two
stocks that I have ridden all the way...
RIMM and Apple (AAPL)...
and I can't argue with that.
That's just two stocks that I've liked.
Usually, I try to find situations where
I want to get off the ship and get back
on the ship... I have not done
that with RIMM, to bad effect. And
I've done that with AAPL with good
effect. It's the only two that
I've ridden all the way.

BBEP |
12.00 |
Breitburn Energy Partners LP
(BBEP)
Jim: I'm concerned
about this company. This is not
the kind of partnership that I like.
This is not a Kerr-McGee (KMG)
partnership. This is a partnership
that actually drills and looks for
natural gas. Therefore, I think
that that yield could be in jeopardy.
So it's not my kind of name. It's
not a Kerr-McGee (KMG),
it's not a Boardwalk (BWP).
I'd rather be in those.

SPW |

SPX Corporation (SPW)
Jim: First of all, I
was on that conference call...
Look, this is a great American
company... and it's got this
testing division that's been soft,
and... I'm going to urge you
to hold onto SPW. When I made my
call... the market was much higher,
September 19th, when I said to take off
20%... and then when I reiterated that I
think the market was bad for any
short-term considerations... What
I was most concerned about were
situations like SPW, where it may take
forever for you to get back to even.
However, here's what I would tell you to
do... I think that, as we get
closer into the recession, I am going to
tell you to
pull the trigger and buy
more. And, until then, I don't
want you to do a thing. Just hold
onto it.

DAL |
11.52 |
Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL)
Jim: Okay... I
never recommend airlines on this show.
Everyone knows that I'm bearish on the
group. I do like the combination
for a short-term trade. I have to
admit... buy, buy, buy... I am
actually blessing a short-term trade for
the Delta-Northwest, but just for a
trade... and I disavow any knowledge of
that six days from now... Six days
from now it's done... and what we will
do is, we will check on it Tuesday of
next week, and I will verify that it's
done.

GLW |
11.16 |
Corning Inc. (GLW)
Jim: I cannot have
you sell this stock down here. I
have to tell you... this is a company I
owned for
ActionAlertsPlus.com. I had an
unbelievable, unbelievable trade in it,
from $20 to $26... I want to go
back into so badly. How can I tell
you... this is where I send out...
it's
a newsletter that I buy (stocks), I
put my money for charity into it...
How can I tell you to sell it, when I am
anxious to try to find a place for GLW.
That said, now understand...
Circuit City
(CC)
came out today, and they're closing a
lot (155) of stores... because they
can't sell a lot of big-screen TVs.
Corning is a big-screen TV play.
Corning has said that there's excess
inventory. I am not going to give
up on Corning, not down here. I
don't want you to sell it. Don't
buy, don't buy... But, I can't
have you
pull the trigger,
because I am too worried about this
quarter...
